Barkroom Rules

Please remember we are a volunteer run community. This is not a full time job for us and when we are focusing our time on SEA-PAH it is most likely not going to be focused on the chat. We want to focus on giving you good fun events while keeping the Barkroom for all of you as well. We are all adults. Please police yourself. If you see someone new posting something that is not appropriate for the chat say something. But do it with respect and with kindness.

We are enforcing a Not Safe for Work Rule; this keeps the chat accessible for all users. Prohibited stickers and pictures include, but are not limited to: overt depictions of underwear, bulges, and butts, or any sexual or lewd act. If you have questions on if a sticker or sticker pack is appropriate, please reach out to any of the moderators for clarification.  Note that the list is not exhaustive and is meant to serve as examples.

RULES:

Welcome to the SEA-PAH Barkroom!

This space is governed by the official SEA-PAH Code of Conduct and by being in this space, you are agreeing that you are at least 18 years of age.

Here are the rules:

  1. Respect each other. Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, body and kink shaming jokes, comments, and insults are not allowed. Constructive discourse is welcome; however, the “devil’s advocate” discussions are not appropriate and will be handled accordingly. Blatant willful ignorance will not be tolerated.
  2. While conversationally appropriate and inclusive NSFW discussion is allowed, please keep all photos, gifs, and videos SFW. Please respect fellow chatters' requests to remove NSFW content. Role Playing should be taken to a private chat between the participants.
  3. Do not use this space to air personal grievances, spread gossip/rumors, etc. This should be handled privately. For concerns that directly involve SEA-PAH, or the community as a whole, please contact the Board directly via email (board@seapah.org). The Board will act in the best interest of the community. 4. By being in this space you agree to abide by the SEA-PAH Code of Conduct, Bylaws, and behavioral expectations as outlined above. Note that these rules and situations are the guidelines not an exhaustive list.

TL;DR. Treat others how you want to be treated, or you'll be asked to leave. Being in this space is a privilege not a right.

Violation of the code of conduct may result in immediate action. Further disciplinary action may be taken at the discretion of the SEA-PAH Moderators and Barkroom Committee, including referral to the SEA-PAH Board. The process by which further action may be taken against a Member of SEA-PAH is governed by the SEA-PAH ByLaws.
